"With Light, Color is Revealed" explores the abstract quality of light and its effect on revealing color. The texture of varying abstract shapes and values are created by using crumpled clear plastic Saran food wrap laid over the wet painting, covered, and pressed with the weight of a stack of books. Once dry the books, cover, and plastic wrap was removed revealing the varied textural shapes which create a sense of movement and depth to the painting.
